Have you ever skipped out on paying the bill?

Once. My wife and I were at this bar and after being served one pitcher between us, were totally ignored all night. The lady never took my credit card to run the tab, and come last call, never came back to see us. So we just got up and left.

purified	Posted Jul 9th, 2009 at 8:52PM Yes I did. Actually I left a penny on the table to show my digust. I was at Pizza Hut with a friend. There were only 3 other people in the restaraunt and we had to wait almost an hour to get a medium one topping pizza. Okay, no big deal...well after waiting 30 min. and telling our waiter 4 times "may we have the check" I finally got irritated and left. If it would have been busy, then fine I would have waited but IT WASN"T and I was more than a little ticked off. Rated: +2Vote for this!
solarxmoon	Posted Jul 7th, 2009 at 11:43AM no, and I never will. Do people realize that their waitperson is the one who gets stuck paying that bill that you skipped out on? I waitress, and had someone walk out on me once. I tracked them down, but that was a bill for over $100 that I would have been stuck paying for if I hadn't. Rated: +1Vote for this!

bleu2ooth	Posted Jul 7th, 2009 at 12:16PM lol no but many times when we are forgotten in the corner, No one comes to check on you or take your order, they have you waiting and waiting before they pass back, when you are even lucky to grab their attention with out having to get up and wonder around the resturant looking for an employee to try to get someone to ring up your bill so that you can leave or order something else- yea, it has has crossed my mind but never have I done it or gotten angry enough at the waiter to make a horrid scene - especially if I know its busy. I just get mad having to wait thats all. Rated: +1Vote for this!
trixiegirl	Posted Jul 7th, 2009 at 9:21PM I never have- been tempted once or twice in my younger years. I wasn't aware that the waiter/waitress had to pay on the dine and ditch tabs, so now I know I never will. Rated: +1Vote for this!
