Have you ever smacked or hit your husband/boyfriend?

Ive been hit by women.....but have never hit back, because... I was taught never to strike a female EVER... no matter what.
So why do some women put up with violence at all??????

Only in jest.. tee hee.. But if I were ever hit, I would probably not be turning the other cheek. I'd be heading for the door. Why stoop to his level (if he did that he would be very low in level, hey)?? If I had to defend myself, I would, however and I know many women (and men) have had to. But smacking in my mind has no place in affection or love, unless, as I say its in jest, and then it is probably just a tease..

I hit when hit... when I was married we had a few moments and he might win in the first round but eventually he will have to sleep. Bruhahaha! Not trying to make a joke of violence but if you don't laugh you cry. ...tis the past I guess

No woman or man should have to put up with violence, and I have been lucky enough not to be at either end.

Someone did show the signs once, I smiled at him and told him if he did I would take the hammer to his head! He realised, just in time, that I was serious. He lowered his hand, and his voice!

Since I tend to be the dominant one in my relationships, hell no. I'm pretty sure any man who would hit me would end up with a broken arm. On the other hand I've never given a man any reason to hit me...

Fear my wife was in an abusive relationship out of fear. She had two children with him, was raped, and physically and emotionally abused. They do it cause they are afraid. and most of the time it is a slow process taking time to build and by the time they realize it they are afraid to get out.
