I don't dread it, during my 'me' time I just chill and get on doing my own thang. Generally housework and then when she gets in it's all yak yak yak yak yak.

The only thing I dread is her phoning me and asking whats for dinner? 8 fcking years same crap everyday. Lets exchange gender roles for a minute here. Wheres my fcking dinner? ahm yeah social services would all over my creamy white as's for that.

If my life ever got to the point I would have to have that person come home to an empty house.

There is a point where you have too much to lose and the little things that are annoying seem too petty to lose it all for.

I only felt that way regularly when I was a kid. Knowing that my mom would probably be unpleasant, and my siblings would be their normal toxic selves. I used to spend a LOT of time in my room out of the storm. My stepdad always found a way to slip out for a cigarette. lol
Even when I was getting divorced, I didn't dread my husband coming home, as we didn't do a lot of fighting and the like. Hate that sort of thing.
That would be rotten....to feel I had to live with that kind of dread regularly. And in my own home. Peace at home is too important and precious to me now.
