    Facebook is for the pretenders.
I accepted that and learned it the hard way.

Have you ever had a friend come up to you and tell you she's stalking someone on facebook? Now, why do people stalk others? To fulfill their obsession and kill their curiosity on how that person is better than them. Truth is, it'll never fill your curiosity. It's one person today, another tomorrow, and so on. And sad part is that everything on Facebook is about the socially accepted stuff. Where she went to party. What she wore to the party. How thin she looked at the damn party. So even if this person is NOT as happy as she appears on FB, you still assume she is anyway. That ruins your self esteem and no, it is not your fault. It wasn't this bad before, with Orkut and what not, but with FB everything's changed. My partner started accusing me of having more male friends than female, which bothered me. It probably was true, I never checked. Also, if your partner is flirting with someone online, the best way to find out about it is FB. That's kind of the reason why I got off of it. I was done. I am done. FB is not for me. I don't need that kind of complexity in my life. Neither do you, if you're considering quitting. Quit, then see how you like it. Trust me, it'll bring you peace in a few hours itself.

idk anymore, they censored me into submission. I don't want to be the one who dirties up your question so you'll have to find out if they're still doing it. They used to '*' out anything remotely close to swearing or describing human anatomy, especially that of the reproductive system, or any sort of reference to procreation., I even had my M/ censored when I used it to spell metallica.

i ask many of the same questions on facebook. but facebook tends to be filled with stuck up people, too worried about being judged for answering my nonsensical queries.
