Have you ever woken (or is it waken? ) up laughing?

This happens to me once in a while,, last time I was dreaming about penguins or something like that and I woke up in the middle of the night laughing and snorting, my husband of course thinks it's the funniest thing but I sometimes wonder if this is a sign of craziness.
*Seriously, woken-waken? English can be frustrating :)
