    No -- the one place I waited tables at insisted on keeping all the tips :( -- but quite a few friends have. And yes, it's definitely made me more aware of the need to tip properly.

    Yeah, I thought it was lousy too; we had to put 'em all in a jar behind the counter. Theoretically, that was supposed to be used to fund things like the Christmas party, but I suspect it just went into the manager's pocket. :/

    I've worked for tips before, and I never stiff anyone who works for tips unless their service is horrible.
