Have you ever?

Have you ever met the person of your dreams and whether it did or did not work out, you NEVER wanted another because that's the one you wanted?

No, because the person 'of my dreams' was really just an image in my head, or the idea of a perfect person should be. But when I really got to know that person, that image sort of faded and you realize that real life isn't that ideal? If that makes sense?

well...there was this one guy I thought I'd never get over. i am married and my husband is just like him only better--as that is all i would settle for, determined to never get married ever if I never found someone at least equal to that guy I loved so much. The only way to get over him was to go for anyone as much like him as possible. me and my husband ran into him at the club...and I knew I had excelled in the highest way possible with my husband, and I was amazed what a catch he was, and that he could like someone like me!!
But I still feel this very deep connection with that guy i loved, I don't think it will go away. However, I don't think it poses a threat to my marriage. While it is a great love, my love for my husband dwarfs it by comparison. I have a gigantic heart!!! There's a lot of room in it. However...it's a little torn up...

well, my husband is the man of my dreams & I feel like if he ever leaves this world before me...then that is it..I would'nt ever want to be with anyone ever again.
