Have you found the truth and what is it?

In the ancient time, our thoughtful ancestors didn't care about Truth; they concentrated on enjoying Beauty. In the Middle Age, they concentrated on building Morality. Only in our modern time now that the philosophers give emphasis on Truth and are still disputing on its reality.
Certainly, Truth must exist, otherwise Beauty and Morality would be fake!
So, where is your knowledge about Truth, what is it, and what were the criteria for your search?

Truth is what you choose to believe. Nobody can prove or disprove it. My truth is likely different than yours.

Criteria should be a combination of what you feel from within and what you know and see from the outside.

Mankind has always been absorbed with being in control or denying the existance of a higher power as man's science cannot explain or prove a God. Since the beginning of time we've tried to control our Mortality. Beauty is just a reflection of our simple understanding of mortality.

I don't think mankind has changed at all here on earth. We like to think we've advanced, but truly haven't come very far.

The truth is: You have one life. Don't screw it up.

Do what makes you happy AND pays the bills. Spend your free time with people you like and love.

If something isn't working -- fix it. Move on. Start fresh.

...oh, and don't take life too seriously. ;)

Still finding it.
Our Heavenly Father put us here to take care of this earth.(Adam and Eve) Everything belongs to Him. If it gets to a point that we are transgressing against Him and not taking care of it, He will destroy us and start over.(The Flood) The key to living His will is in His word, you just have to find it for yourself, no matter how shocking it may turn out to be for you.
If you look around, you will see that we aren't doing a very good job now because everyone is wrapped up in material things and trashing the earth. So be prepared to serve the Father and do what He wishes. "The time will be cut short for Elite's sake."

I think this is one of those questions that really falls under the table a lot. most people in their right minds will say what the hell are you talking about? if you asked them that question. what their saying is how can you even bother asking such a rediculouse question (the "answer" to them is and always be right in front of them, i.e, i "it is what it is") now the crazyer you get in the scale of human intelegence. at a certian point provided they arn't too too "smart", they will give you a difinitive answer to that question and it will seem very to the point and possibly very real, these are the answers that are essentually right, so if your looking for the 'right' answers ask them. now as you get further into the human intellegence scale, you will most likely find where this question was first concieved. now as you get really crazy, but also more intellegent (the poorly termed "true genius", mozart, leonardo, plato, socratise, beethoven, picasso, einstien, tesla, variouse modern day sciencefiction writers, and mathmaticians beyond physics) you will find where a true answer will apply. the only thing a true answer will tell you is that many people can agree on it, such as what is currently being put forth with string theory and M theory, the theories of everything. but what they'll tell you is reality is subjective, and the truth of what is beyond our humanly forms could never be fully understood by the in tact system of the human mind, as it is primarly used to create symbols, instead of expieriancing what is "true".

so basicly the whole reson they bother asking questions like that is because their first really curiouse about our limitations both when we are alive and once we have died. So trying hard to understand consciousness and how it is effected exactly while we are consciouse and what happens when we die. But that are answers alot about psychology, and understanding of different anomolies in human consciousness like insanity, variouse mental disorders, and the term of the millinium, genius.

so basicly, everything is subjective. everything you expieriance is different from what amything else is expieriancing. and things are never quite as they appear.

I Dubito, Ergo Cogito, Ergo Sum
I doubt, Therefore I think, Therefore I am
Neither is your existence in question. Cogito Ergo Es.
It Is in what way you exist that is in question.
Truth Is absolute, the question only remains what is "true"
The entire universe is simply subject to our interpretations of data and considering how weak our interpretations seem to be, they are not a very trustworthy source of reference. The Fact Remains, I think, and therefore, at some point, I do indeed exist.

Mathematics has been the most reliable source for truth for me. One plus one has and will always equal two . Principia Mathematica took over 100 pages to prove this. In math once a theorem is established it's better than a rock upon which a bridge can be built It's true forever. Of course depending on what combination of axioms and subsequently theorems one agrees to begin with you diverge into, say, Euclidean and non-Euclidean geomerties, different but each self-consistent and true. If this means "what you believe in" I guess I agree with 2nice.
But Vennificus astutely reminds us of - was it Descartes - who pretty much philosophized that since everything apparently there COULD be hallucination we can each ONLY be sure of our own existence - nothing else.
Perhaps Socrates1984 has a good point! The Bible also says "Be still and know I am God". Maybe gumflapping like all of us are guilty of leads away from the Truth. Notice the theme "I am" and "God". I've been taught that we all Are God, and that God lives within us AS us.
Meditation is a way to approach God. Real meditation - rarely achieved by me and less often for many others despite their illusion that they achieved it - occurs in a space where there is no thought, beyond the mind and is thoughts.
Just an aside - the Mandelbrot Set is a great example of how the small part can contain the entire set [God lives in us], as are holograms: a broken piece of the glass used to project the image contains the full image the whole glass does!

Have I found the truth? It is nowhere to be found. It hasn't left. It's here.... and by talking about it I would filter it with my mind. That wouldn't do it any justice.
