Other than a bird ingested into an engine on takeoff in Zürich, an emergency takeoff abort, breaks catching on fire, tires deflating, taxing to an isolated spot at the airport in case our plane explodes, having firemen help you off the plane, get on a bus, go back through security, miss all connecting flights, stay an extra night, fly to Sweden the next day instead of the USA, then finally home... no. Other than that, everything's been great!

It turned out fine, but it wasn't very fun at the time. Now we look back at the pictures of the firemen and the plane with charred tires and think it was "fun". Even the flight crew were taking pictures.

edgargeorge	Posted May 8th, 2009 at 6:02PM No, and I fly all the time (knock wood). My brother on the other hand has experienced the gamut of flying terrors, almost as if he is a plane crash magnet, but he's managed to survive as well. Rated: +1Vote for this!
Caliper	Posted May 8th, 2009 at 6:40PM I had to take a small commuter flight from Brussles to Zeebrugge, Belgium. It was raining cats and dogs and my luggage sat in the rain for 20 minutes. We take off late and when we landed, a tire blew and we almost skidded off the runway. I was never so happy to be out of there as any place I've ever been. Rated: +1Vote for this!
unicorn59	Posted May 8th, 2009 at 7:00PM Never....I'm 50 years old and have never had a bad flying experience..... That is probably because I've never flown in an airplane. I'd much rather see the sites along the way....I am wanting to go to Germany in the near future, so, I guess I'll know after that. Rated: +1Vote for this!
