Have you had a film produced in the area you live?

Did you get to be an extra in it?

I am NOT talking of Blue Movies!

I lived in Notting Hill Gate, London ... lots of films made there ... just around the corner from one flat I lived in was the house where Performance with Mick Jagger was made in 1969.

The interior of my apartment was used as a location for a small budget movie made by Tiger Aspect film company in 1999.

mistygrey	Posted Sep 24th, 2009 at 9:30AM I grew up in the area where the author DH Lawrence (best known for his novel "Lady Chatterley's Lover" which could be described as being a bit 'blue' lol) was born and spent his formative years (Eastwood in Nottinghamshire) Many of his novels were set in the locality and I can remember a television crew arriving once to film an adaptation of his novel "The Rainbow".... I didn't get to be an extra in it though :( Rated: +1Vote for this!
Dragoncat0228	Posted Sep 24th, 2009 at 9:43AM I've never been an extra, but films are shot in our downtown area all the time...Batman, Wanted, the new Gangster movie with Johnny Depp, one of Will Smith's movies had shots here too. I remember seeing the model-T's. Because I had to walk by the filming areas to get to work. Trailers line the streets late at night. When it happens it kind of feels like... Hollywood.
