Have you identified any negative thought patterns in yourself lately?

Yeah.. actually, I've been that way for a while. A lot of things bug me and complain about it, but usually to myself. I do have a good sense of humor, though.

I have wondered if it's okay to just be this way - because I would rather be real and don't care for "false optimism".

I have a constant, uncontrollable stream of negative thoughts about myself. :(

LOL!!!
omg there is not enough room here!!!!
Now that my friend made me smile!!!!
:)

Negative thoughts....
I want to have control and I can't have it all and it bugs
I get frustrated when I try to be positive or at least I think I am being positive and it blows up in my face
I try to be respectful and it doesn't work.... or I don't get it back....
I don't have the relationship I want with my youngest (ugh... a teenager) and it just makes me sad and I find myself being negative cuz frankly, Im wore out... I can't seem to fix it... which in turn sends me to: *drum roll please*......~
"My Pessimistic Place"..... and when I'm there, I say that's it I'm over it!!... Then I do the whole feeling sorry for myself... oh woes me stuff and cry a lot... I'm done Im giving up!!!

(even tho I know damn well Im not gonna give up.... it just feels good to vent, whine and cry for a while)

The last 5 hours my Negative Nelly side has appeared and I'm frustrated!!
How are those for negative thoughts????
:/

i'm a pessimist and a realist, so yeah, i'm a negative person. but i think rationally about everything. i think too hard and things tend to become negative in one way or another.

If you count the thought "I want to punch you in your face" every time my boss opens his mouth - then yes.

Negative thought patterns are unfortunately apart of my everyday life. Lately I feel somewhat bored with my life and feel like no one appreciates anything I do. kinda sucks.

Yes, endless guilt and self loathing. I have been bombarded recently, but I am working my way through it.

when I get a little frustrated or when I do something I wish I haven't done I utter to myself "I wanna die".

and that is not good.

I don't really wanna die. I just feel really bad at that given moment. but saying those words like 4-10 times throughout my day really summons up bad vibes.. : (

Yup... my happiness tends to depend on my weight, as absolutely stupid as that sounds. Last week I lost 5 1/2 pounds and I was thrilled. This week I lost 1/2 a pound and I am obsessing over why I didn't lose more.
