I am so smitten over the South American girl I met! She is smart, nice, funny, cute...and leaving town in a little less than three months. I met her through a mutual friend. We've been chatting on FB, hung out in a group last weekend, and I hope to meet up with her on Sunday to hang out. The crazy thing is she has been "hanging out" with this guy for the last 8 months and they haven't done ANYTHING, literally, other than kiss a little. Now she doesn't feel the need to stay and wants to experience new adventures, and I don't blame her, why not?

I am hoping that she feels interested in getting to know me more. Even it if she is planning to leave, it would be nice to have a short fling with her.


That's life, eh? Can't get what you want, and when something good happens, it slips away so easily.
