No. Everything dies eventually. Then you get sad, you get nostalgic, you start getting lonely, and you get another one.

Yes, ive had quite a few rodents in the past 10 years that have died, and it just breaks your heart everytime. I thought it would get easier but it just gets harder.
Ive told myself i dont want anymore pets for this reason. But i think if theres ever an animal that needs a home ; id definetally take him in. But i wouldnt buy a pet.Like (2)

I have seven pets at the moment, even if I manage to recover from their passings, I doubt I would have any more.

Funny you should ask that .One of my dogs got hit and Killed in the road,just today.
I had to Bury him Three times.My other dog kept digging him up, and dragging him to the Back Porch,and scratching on the door, like he wanted me to Fix him. I finally had to move a 100 gallon metal tank on top of him.
