It can mean a lot of things.... Healthcare change in America is something that was required... but not just any old change is good. If health care is guaranteed but costs are still rising at a ridiculous rate as they were... well the outcome could be very bad in the long run.

Finally, I'll get to see a doctor in the US? I was thinking about moving to the UK or Canada, to see a doctor!

The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.

Its not about your health, its not about care, its about money. Being mandatory, under penalty of fines and jail is unconstitutional. This is a rouge congress from top to bottom.

We have a healthcare system in the uk but are heavily taxed with 9% of income going to health care 25% to income tax deducted from pay and 17.5% purchase tax called VAT. This is in addition to other taxes on fuel, alcohol, tobaco etc. Still i know if i get ill i will be able to get free health care when i get to the front of the long waiting list

I remember when I had Health Care. It was a bargain, and everyone made money.

Now, Health Care means only one thing. More Greed to the Health Care Industry (not the Doctors), the Insurance Companies, the Drug makers, and...... the Government people who dreamed up this new System. You can bet, they just bought up as much Stock as they could.

You can bet, all Walmart employees will be getting free Health Care now, Guess who pays for it?????? I just looked at my new Property Tax Statement, I get to pay Health Care Taxes, for the poor, now. The Catch is, I'm Poor also. And, 80% of my total Taxes is, School Taxes. I don't know of many Children who have read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution, and they also think, our nation is a Socialist Democracy, Wow, have they failed History, and I bet they all got "A's". When I go to the Store to buy anything, the Cashiers can't count change. Try this, as a test: Buy an item for a Dollar and some change, give the Cashier a Five Dollar Bill and the exact change. They will not be able to figure out how much change to give you, because the Cash Register did not tell them. Try it, ah go on... I dare ya. Let me know what happens. I need a good laugh at the Taxes I've been paying.
