I have the shingles and right.npw the.pain id unbearablr and I'm just.laying here cryimg right bow witg the pain. My.poor little fiance.is crying too because he feels so helpless that I'm in so much.pain and hecan't help me. He has been giving me meds, making me drink water, makeing me drink hot liquids, giving me a icepack and a hot water bottle to lay up ony ribs ( where the pain is) and right.now he's just holding.me in this arms tightky anf cuddling me. :)) Bit.please could someone tell me a way to get rid of this awful pain? Thank you to those who answer

You should go and see your doctor because we are helpless when it comes to things like this. I hope you do get better

Lidocaine is useful for helping ease the pain and something like calomine lotion also often helps with the sores

Your doctor will tell you what to do. Until then take Ibuprophen as long as you can take that!

I've never had the shingles but I'm told that even with doctor's help, they take forever to get rid of. But a doctor can help, if nothing else with pain pills.
