Help me understand Why do you get drunk?

i understand drinking with friends and having a few too many as time gets away. but why drink to get drunk?

theres alot of answers to this question on why people get drunk. people get drunk for one reason in a social gathering to enjoy themselves more. when u drink you get wilder and thats the setting for fun.lots of fun. others get drunk becuz its an antidepressant. now even thoug the deppression returns its temporary. others even drink to fall asleep maybe they suffer from insomnia like myself. when you got alot going on at times you wanna just get a nice bottle of something. whatever your favorite taste is or what gets you ****** up quicker. then you dont think about those problems.

Its like an aching feeling, i get drunk to allow myself to be happy without wondering whats going to go wrong and yeah sometimes i get drunk to just get away from the sober me! I ask my boyfriend why he drinks too much,he says he just likes to have his drinks and always has done from a young age and he very rarely gets drunk,i think if he didnt consume for just one day he would be the man from hell,mind you hes the man from hell when he has had too much and try telling an Alcoholic hes an Alcoholic... :( Rated: +1Vote for this!
