Here's another one: Do you think it's fair that only the most popular girl can be homecomming queen...?

Don't you think it should be based more on who raises the most funds for the school or something like that?

I think it's ridiculous to have a queen and king for Homecoming. This is the USA - we fought a bloody war to get away from royalty. Why are we still fascinated by it over 200 years later? Homecoming should be for the whole student body and it should celebrate everyone's contribution, even the guy and gal who just show up for class everyday. You don't know what's going on in their minds or their lives.. Sometimes the "zero" turns out to be the real hero in adulthood.

I never really paid all that much attention to stuff like that when I was in high school. personally I would've rather hung out with the nerds than the popular kids if I had to chose.
