I know a similar kind of story, almost the same one...
both the bride and bridegroom does not see each other until the wedding date. The marriage takes place for 7 days,(an old Indian custom).

Defo Indian. My parents met first time on their actual wedding day. This happened cause ma mom was from a poor background and father working class (We're all rich now though lol) but not back then.
Before this they just viewed each others photos and accepted to get married. Didn't even speak over the phone. They're together now for 28... ish years.Like (2)
