I had mine pierced a few years ago. It hurt at the time, and during the healing process it was pretty painful. But you forget all about the pain or how much it hurt after time goes by. I think it was worth it. Most importantly, make sure you have a professional pierce it, and make sure to ask if they are using a new/sterilized needle. Then after just make sure to keep it very clean, and follow the directions the piercer will give to you. Even if you feel tempted, don't change it or take it out earlier than recommended. My experience was a good one, and it's never been infected or anything.

i had mine, i pierced it twice because at first it got infected,.. just go to the authorize place and make sure to use antibacterial after you have it,. it'l surely hurt at first but it'l be good later on,. it's really cool!..

I have had mine for 15 years & I still love it! I have a high pain tolerance & have had several piercings before & the belly button hurt the worst! (sorry to scare you) but I don't regret it & I do agree w/ the others go to a well known place. Also I have a 24k gold ring in mine & it has never been infected & i have had several friends that had to take their fake jewelry out because it got so infected so I'd say invest in a nice ring & constantly follow cleansing instructions :)

Meeee! I love mine :-D Do go to a proper piercing place tho, dont try and do it yourself lol. It will hurt for a while but no pain no gain :-)

If you get one make sure you go to a clean and well established place. I had mine pierced at 16 and had to let it close up, because it became infected. And, when I repierced it at 18, they had to tear though the scar tissue.... it wasn't pleasant :(
