If danger bothers you, stick to your car. Most people have a car crash every 8 or 10 years, depending on how much they drive. Most of them result in minor injuries. If you are on a motorcycle you are way more likely to be seriously injured. That said, bikes are more fun.

Motorcycles would be much more uncomfortable in bad weather - too cold, rain, hail, etc. Plus I don't think you can't really run big errands with them, like grocery shopping, unless you buy a little at a time. If you have occasional long trips, they might be uncomfortable.
I think a motorcycle and a car is convenient but a motorcycle instead of a car wouldn't be very practical.Like (2)

Motorcycle riding is not necessarily dangerous -- neither is riding in a car -- until such time as you have an accident. Either in the form of a fall, hitting a stationary ob
ject such as a tree, or colliding with another (usually heavier vehicle). Then, the more material you have around you, the better, since this metal absorbs the energy by denting or caving in. When on a motorcycle, there is little to zero extra metal around you to protect you! Like (2)

I'm 27 and have had two friends killed in motorcycle accidents and know another woman who now has severe brain damage and can barely walk from a motorcycle accident.
As with driving anything, you can only control what you are driving/riding. When someone pulls in front of you because you are much harder to see, the consequences are far worse than when you're in a car.
Likewise riding in cold weather, rain, snow, etc.. isn't for everyone.
Had you began riding a motorcycle in your youth then you may consider it but at this point I would not consider it if I were you.
