Hey Ladies, did you know that YOU are PARTLY responsible for your dude cheating on you?

Q&A Home   >  Community   >  EP

....Some guy LITERALLY said this. I mean...really? I understand in some circumstances when she's ignoring them, but NOT when the dude just wants to stick another chick.

That's a really disgusting and sad way of thinking imo.

Nah, some men cheat because they suffer from restless penis syndrome.

Agreed. Which means they can't blame women as being partly responsible...idiots.

People are responsible for their own actions and choose to cheat rather than resolve relationship problems or end a current relationship first. The only people responsible for cheating are the people doing it.

Nah...Sorry, he's responsible for his own actions.
OTOH, if you're constantly neglecting him, you're damaging the relationship.

I never cheated on my soon-to-be-ex, even in the Year Of No Sex.

Agreed. And yes, if you're neglecting, it doesn't help. Which my father is doing to my mother...(but he's a bad person anyway).

Even if the girl is ignoring him (or vice versa) then you should either talk about it until it changes or just leave. Cheating doesn't have a place, ever. (imo) The cheater is almost always the person to blame, because they should have fixed or ended the relationship *first*. (Unless you're in an arranged marriage and divorce is illegal, or something like that.)

Of course. I agree. What I meant is if the girl ignored, the dude talked, and she wouldn't listen. Then I wouldn't blame him....(and, obviously, if he couldn't get out of the situation...Ii know a situation like this). I'm only okay with cheating in such a situation. Nothing else.
