I hate Valentine's Day--I call it Hallmark day - florists day - jewelers day or candy day. These industries keep it going for their profits and put pressure on us to scramble for the right gifts-especially the men. I tell my bf not to get me anything 'cause I'm not gift buying. Why single out a single day--buy him/her flowers on the spur of the moment-it means more that way. Just don't dare forget my birthday!

Really, I think the only holiday that should be is Christmas and Easter. Both are MAJOR ones for everybody. Those so called holidays celebrating a persons birthday is not a holiday to me.

They should change Columbus Day to GPS Day, because that idiot didn't even know where he was......and as a result, my ancestors have been called "Indians" for centuries.

I do not subscribe to religion, but I think the so-called "religious" ones are fine, I enjoy them the same as anyone else. I especially love Independence Day because one of my ancestors was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
