Home made cures for a sore throat?

I Have the worst sore throat ever..my cough mixture isnt helping much either :( does anyone have any home made remedies to share?

NancyDrew	Posted Nov 12th, 2009 at 11:04AM Add a tablespoon of salt and 1/2 of a crushed aspirn to one cup of very warm water, let dislove, gargle and repeat until cup is finished. Place a slightly damp, clean dishcloth in the microwave until warm, wrap around your throat and rest. Repeat as often as necessary. Also suck on hard candy. The pectin in the candy will help coat your throat and ease some of the pain as well. I hope you feel better soon. Rated: +2Vote for this!

booradley	Posted Nov 12th, 2009 at 10:58AM I second/third/whatever the warm salt water. If you're having strep-like symptoms, that can make the swelling and irritation go down almost instantly. It has to be fairly salty water though. Rated: +1Vote for this!

deftone	Posted Nov 12th, 2009 at 11:03AM i just filled a script of vicodin and i bet it would help. Other than that just buy some of that coroseptic spray and keep it numb i guess. Im generally clueless on how to fix myself of these problems , luckily i generally dont ever get sick Rated: +1Vote for this!
