Because the dancer in question makes enough money for both of them to live easily and happily?
And if she has a problem with supporting him and/or buying everything within the relationship, then she should say something to him or just flat out kick him to the curb.
I don't, however, think that is actually a rule of thumb. I know exotic dancers that either don't have boyfriends at all, because they choose to be single, or else they date wealthy, successful men who like hanging a trophy girl on their arms.
I'm sure there are many dating situations among dancers just like with any other group of people.
Oh, and by the way, that last comment is a bit rude and a lot uninformed. Dancers are people just like anyone else. If they choose to remove their clothing for money, it doesn't necessarily mean they have psychological issues or need to "talk to someone".
And my answer to THAT question? YES, if I was an attractive female who wanted to make 3 times what other females in my age group made for doing half the work,(and maybe even having a little fun), I would absolutely take my clothes off for the money.
But I'm not, so I will spare you. :)

Its purely physical from the start and when he is tired of that pretty face, he will move on to the next one. I've been the trophy wife and the trophy girlfriend. groumd59	Posted Jul 4th, 2009 at 11:35PM sounds like a very lucky fellow to me.maybe these guys are really good looking and they figure they can get pretty girls,so they don't make the effort they should.iv'e told one of my best friend's who happen's to be very pretty,and has had trouble with good looking guys before.an average looking guy would treat you like a queen,and work his *** off.but it's not always the case.but i know guys are like that. IcarusFalling	Posted Jul 7th, 2009 at 12:51AM Becuase deep down, strippers have TONS of emotional issues, including a need for drama/chaos that A) leads them to choose poorly in a mate and B) drives them to tear apart any sense of normalcy in a relationship. Strippers are fun to date, but no man wants to put up with the bullshit too long. Most strippers treat men like crap, they are controlling (which comes from a severe insecurity, hence why they ***** to control men) and usually cheat on their men. I LOVE strippers. There are probably alot of issue, insecurities and such that are going on in there. I had a friend who was a ********/escort at one point in her life, and all she dated was unemployed losers who she treated like kings. She still dates these guys years after..... I think her self-worth is so damn low that she thinks she needs to pay a guys way and buy him stuff so he'll stick around. And lets be honest here, what decent man would date a woman who showed her cooch to hoards of strangers every night and god knows what else during "the private dances"...... not likely going to happen.
