Sweetie, there are so very little men that can truly express how they feel and be open and honest about it. Being romantic is a gift, it's a strength, but of course it has to be natural, from the heart, sincere.

I personally, can easily admire a man who can be bold, and yet tender and loving, who is not scared to say I love you, who is not scared to say this is what I want, and will fight for it, who is not embarrassed to set up a quite candlelight dinner, turn on the fireplace, accompanied with champagne filled flutes, and will slow dance with me to a good Frank, song...OH! yes honey, Romantic, is actually a man's strength.

No, of course not. However there are many ways to define 'romance'. I do not find 'clingyness' or needyness attractive. Romance is something that generally should be mutual. And i believe a woman likes a man with "balls" so to speak. But also a man that can offer romantic gestures and be respectful and loving. Generally, most woman appreciate romance.

No. In fact, being romantic could be considered a strength, since there's the possibility that other guys might think they're silly. It's sweet to be romantic. Still, I wouldn't want to be buried in sappyness and fluffiness and squishiness...all those icky textures of love that together make a gross pile of goo. A rose or a gift here and there is adorable, but he shouldn't overdue it.

C'mon ... you know the answer to this question! OF course romance is NOT a weakness...it actually seems to exist less and less in men...so I think it is a very good quality to have! And I think, from what little I know of you, that you are quite the romantic! And I personally like that about you!

Romance is the ultamate turn on and keeping factor for a real woman. Who wouldnt want a prince charming. I hate that so many men feel that they always have to prove that they are tough and they are the "Man" give me a caring nice guy any day. I feel like this, treat me how you want to be treated. Now keep in mind every woman doesnt deserve the romantic treatment. There are a lot of ****** up women out there, who are gold diggers and users and manipulators. I guess the key is knowing who you are with and treating them accordingly. As we mature we learn the hard way that we can not treat all people the same. Reserve that romantism and nurturing for a very special person that shows you they would return the favor and that appreciates it.

Honestly, I view romance in a guy, as a strength....it's another part of them, that few people get to see or experience....

It shows a tenderness....and that's something us girls love to see.

Weakness? Hell no. Being romantic goes with being a real man, a guy who is strong and confident and respectful and who is not afraid to show love and compassion, to acknowledge needs and desires, who knows how to be a lover and a friend and a partner. (As Betty pointed out a few comments back, being romantic is not being needy or clingy.) A romantic guy doesn't have to have flowers delivered by the truckload. Sometimes a single rose, presented with a kiss and an "I love you" is quite enough to do the job. A romantic candlelight dinner. Opening a door. Holding hands while walking. Snuggling with us in front of a fire in a fireplace. Being there to listen when we need to talk. Finding a secluded place to make love in the moonlight of a soft summer night.

I think a romantic man is the one who is truly a strong man; it is the super macho loudmouths who are the weak ones because they are too afraid of not being the king of all around them to ever display any romance.

Absolutely not. I see men that think they need to repress their feelings in order to fit in with the "macho" culture as the weak ones. Weak-willed, and weak-minded.

No I don't.. Romance is more of a strength.. Most guys aren't romantic so the one's that are should be proud of it! =]

I suppose if you're thinking in terms of "I'm a lover not a fighter" and they never stand up for themselves. But I don't see that as romance either. But personally I'd rather be with the lover rather than the fighter anyhow.
