I am all in for Romney. Class warfare, high unemployment, 47 million taking foodstamps, endless saying one thing, doing another, stupid foreign policy decisions, stimulus packages that did nothing but created more debt we will be paying back for decades, over 6 trillion. In debt accumulated in less than 4 yrs, creating the most debt in a faster period of time in the history of all mankind. I could go on but it doesn't matter, you catch my drift. I want Obama out of office so badly, we will be so much better off with him in retirement.

Obama most definitely, it was never a question. Things have improved, job growth is up, the rate of spending is actually lower than preceding presidents, and he deserves a second term. I wish he were more obviously liberal, I wish he stood up for progressive issues more. I wish he didn't try to appease the right wingers by being soft on environmental protection, too nice to big business, hard on drugs, light on defense cuts, and heavy on social spending cuts.
However, Mitt would be an utter disaster in all of those areas. Civil rights and freedoms would fly out the window and be replaced by the image of an ideal, white christian, "family friendly" America with a big fat military gun that bullies everyone into submission. Homelessness would rise, the economy would suffer, education and environmental agencies would be severely cut, and he wants to simply do away with planned parenthood and phase out medicare.
I hope that Obama will take his second term as an opportunity to be a little more like FDR and Hoover and show more "lib". The existing way of doing things does not work and we need a true progressive left party. Since dividing a party by starting a third party tends to only take votes away from the original party, giving the vote to the opposing side, we need to take the democratic party and make it into the true progressive party.

I will vote for Obama again. I am not at all disappointed with his first term. He does not see everything the way I do, but no president ever has. Personally, I am better off than I was four years ago, and I feel the country is moving slowly in the correct direction. I am glad Obama is our president, and I will proudly vote for him again.

Obama has only been there 3 years and only one has even been productive (if you call going left productive.) His senate hasn't even passed a budget in three years, so what "direction" are you even talking about here?

The only change Obama brought to his 4 year term was the change I have left in my pocket. Anyone would be crazy to elect him for another term. Romney/Ryan is getting my vote.

Ann Romney's Speech to Showcase Mitt's Softer Side

    www.CBNNews.com

    Tuesday, August 28, 2012

The Republican National Convention is getting underway Tuesday after being delayed by the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac.

Events officially kicked off with a prayer for storm victims and for Americans still endangered by it.

On the agenda for today: speeches from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as well as from Mitt Romney's wife, Ann.

Ann Romney is taking the stage in an effort to show voters a different side of her husband. Mitt and Ann Romney were in New Hampshire practicing their upcoming speeches Sunday.

"I like my speech. I really like Ann's speech," Mitt told reporters.

The five Romney sons are also working to help voters connect with their father on a personal level.

"He gets emotional if you ask him about his dad, he'll get emotional. You ask him about my mom, he'll get emotional. He gets emotional when he talks about God and Christ," Tagg Romney said of his dad.

Polls show voters believe President Obama is more likeable than Romney. And a new ABC News poll shows 58 percent of Americans believe Romney favors the wealthy over the middle class.

The campaign is hoping Ann will help convince voters tonight that her husband cares about all of their needs

That ship has sailed....Obama is resident now...not George W., not Bill Clinton or anyone else that came before him. He got into office by convincing the American public that he was a leader and that he knew how to fix the problems facing us. He has proven to be neither a leader or capable of fixing anything. I didn't vote for him because he's had zero experience doing anything...not a single concrete thing that has produced a tangible positive result. The only thing he's good at is running his mouth. I'm tired of hearing that the failure of his policies is because of republican opposition. I'm tired of being told that if the media did a better job of "selling" his policies to us we'd see how brilliant the were and support them...like we're too stupid to understand them and weigh their merits. I'm tired of the same old litany that if we just throw more money.....borrowed money....we can solve our problems. A leader....a true leader leads. He quantifies the problems; seeks out the solutions with the highest probability of success and doesn't give a rats *** whether they're his or someone else's; he build consensus among differing factions. Obama has done none of those things. He is just what I said he was....inept, arrogant, and an egotist.
