House (Hugh Laurie) is my idol. Why isn't he yours?

He's a prick, he's a genius, he's a guitar/piano player . . . I'm batting 1.000 so far. Oh, and he's a doctor. Yeah, I miss out on that one, but still, what a badass?

:Trinabeana: Beowulf was fictional, King Arthur was fictional, many may argue that religious prophets were fictional (perhaps in deeds as opposed to actual existence, I mean for this to apply to all listed above). Seems fair that House gets his crippled, atheistic ass some damn recognition. Lol

First of all, if you don't idolize fictional characters, then whomever earns your idolization is unworthy of it. Second of all, to all whom this concerns, it's a goddamn fun post. Relax people. He's a misanthropic doctor for Christ's sake, of course there are a lot of people that will disagree.

King Arthur isn't fictitious - he's legendary.
There is a difference.
And "House" is an affectionate rip-off of/homage to "Sherlock Holmes",which is the real McCoy.
