A better question would be "what sense does it make to spend 985.7 million dollars, to get a job that only pays $650,000/year"?

I guess...but how many "Favors" would you owe to the people who raised 1072.6 million to get you elected?

The politicians and the teachers through their political unions are one and the same crowd. Sooooo......how about we cut both of their pay in half?

nope. unions actually have no pull anymore because the government pulled enough strings making teacher unions obsolete. Although, they still have to pay union dues.

How about we pay professors more than we do football coaches in the universities?

The head coach at the University of Oklahoma makes about $4.6 million per year including benefits. They hired his brother this year and I'm sure he'll be raking in the dough big time in a few years too.

your right, we're all human beings. At least teachers aren't trying to extort taxpayers money for their own greed.

Give them the chance and they would, I can only agree to them being payed better if they dont lose a students exam and take actual action on bullying which im sure they dont.
