How can america come together for the better of the next genaration?

not going to happen. it's all down hill from here the quicker you accept it the quicker you become zen about it all, like me ;)

I am starting to realize that WE THE PEOPLE have very little say over what is decided in this country...
I think many decisions are already decided 4 us! A very frightening thought.

We could stop being ignorant.
Stop asking "So are you Chinese, or Japanese?" when we see an Asian.
Stop assuming whites are the only ones capable of racism.
Start learning about other religions.

We could do a lot.

Better yourself, better your country. Because of all the personal integrity that has been lost, I don't think we're going to get better, but it's worth a try.

The government is only human. You might want to try living in another country before you decide to make a protest. America is still the land of opportunity but it's also the land of wasted opportunity. I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else, though.

I try to explain that everyone is human and no goverment should be based on self interest and groups soley for their benefit. This creates more war and and violence amoung people. We need to remember that it is our responsibitliy to ensure freedom and to pass on to out children and our grandchildren to question our goverment and not be mislead by weker spirits and hearts. To truely know that the people employ these leaders and they work for us and if for one second they don't siclose their true intentions regardless of color race or gender we need to fight for our democracy and right to have a true goverment based on the people and what the people wish to become of our nations and how to get there.

Its too late. The GOP took it all and we are printing our grandchildrens earnings as we type.

We don't all have the same problems. The problems of the poor are very different from the problems of the wealthy. America has never been intended to be a stew, with all the flavors mixed together into one congealed mess. It's a quilt, with each piece separate, but the whole looks good nonetheless.
