Normal is overrated.

Best Answer

Normal is a statistical distribution and it applies to most NATURAL variables.

Normal does not infer an absence of variation. In fact it REQUIRES there to be variation. Therefore, in a group of all normal people, most will cluster around the middle in terms of behaviour (we, wrongly, tend to call this average) but some will exhibit more extreme behaviours. A very few will have wildly variant behaviour, far removed from those in the middle.

All of them are normal.

The answer then, is not to worry about being normal but to observe how we vary from where we believe the median or middle ground is.

Statistically, this can be measured and is called Deviance. It can only be measured once a full data set is collected so all it really shows is what we have already done.

If the hope is to act in a more measured and controlled way, then this would distort the normal distribution and lead to some degree of skew.

So, You can be Average, Deviant or Skewed and still normal :-))

Personally, I'm all three.

Normal is for mediocre. Not normal is luxurious.

Best Answer

Normal is however you define it. Just be confident in who you are and ignore those who tell you to behave normally. If you work in a professional place though, behave how you would normally but toned down some because in a business sense you need to be professional as we all know.
