Read, practice by writing (letters, a diary, full notes, paraphrase books, etc) ... then repeat. Other ways (if you are living in a non English speaking country) include:

    change mobile to English
watch DVDs in English (use subtitles if it's too fast)
listen to music and write down the lyrics, check they're right online
practice with friends who are also learning
build vocabulary by trying to name as much as you can in a catalogue or shop magazine
keep a diary or a blog in English, let English speakers know about it and invite criticism (only if you have a really thick skin or are very brave)

..got more ideas if you need them.

It will help you learn, criticism is when people tell you what you did wrong, that helps too, it shows you where a mistake is so that you can learn not to make it again. Take care and have fun learning, that's the most important thing of all :)

That's OK, you would learn anyway just by listening and interacting with them. You don't need to be corrected all the time.

Practice and listen to the corrections. English is a language - you are not "good in it". Instead you become good at speaking or writing it as a learned skill, like walking. So, the question should have been: "How can I improve my English?". Keep working on it.

Yes you have to pay, but it is totally worth it. My sister used rosetta stone before she went to spain for her job and she learned spanish very quickly. but if you dont want to pay then just practice practice practice. Work at it!
