You just enter some ashram or monastery and tell them your reasons for coming to the place, usually there is a high priest or monk who counsel people and talks to them about what all are the reasons, usually most are said to go back and lead their normal life unless someone is in real pain or can connect himself/herself with the society. You don’t have to convert to get into any ashram or monastery
