Why is he your ex in the first place?
If he treated you badly, or didn't want you. Do you really want someone like that in your life?
Ex's are ex's for a reason. evaluate the situation figure out whether it's really worth it...
to be honest, if it's mean to be, it will be. until then. it's just playing the waiting game.

I didn't know it was possible to get an ex back!

If he already doesn't want you, why would any self-respecting person want to put himself or herself out in any way in order to compete with the new bf or gf?

It really depends on the situation! Who broke it off with who and why? Has the persona already moved on?

If they haven't already moved on maybe you should try to talk to them, start back out as friends and see if anything happens from there!

Most likely you cant that is why it is the ex. Leave it alone and move on. If it is meant to have a second round then it will happen but trying to get him/her back makes you look like a nut case, which in turn totally doesnt help you in the future. Take the high road.
