How can I get everyone in my family on board for a group move to a new place? See details, any ideas welcome :-)
My mom, sister, and myself all dream of moving out west. My sister has always wanted to move to California, my mom grew up in California and wants to move to Colorado, and I want to move to anywhere mountainous and wooded. My mom has her psych licence and private practice in Illinois, my sister has in-laws in Illinois that help with her kid, and I have nothing tying me down but my mom, sister, and niece. Is there anyway to convince them all at once to move westbound? I know we can rebuild everything and all be a lot happier!

Nothing beats the Pacific Northwest (West of the Cascades). Washington State, Oregon. The Olympic peninsula is America's best kept secret.

Maybe you can do some research and then present it to your family that the place you want to move to has something to offer everyone. Remind them how lonely it can get being so far away from each other, and perhaps if you all have special skills that go together, you can plan on a new adventure or endeavor in the near future. Good luck to you all.
