    It takes a long time and sometimes the best thing that you can do is to adopt another dog, take him/her for long walks and know that your girl would want that for you. I am so sorry for your loss.

    It took me two years and anti depressants to get over my grief and moving home it also helos that I had her cremated so I can take her with me it's a time thing now how long ull kno when u hav moved on

    thank you so much for your advice i really appreciate it. i also had dolly cremated i say good night and good morning to her every day and my spotty who went three months after dolly.thank you again.

    It takes time. Just remember the good memories of you and dolly. It's also better to have dolly specific items removed, so you don't see them.
