How can I lose my "pot-belly"?

I don't necessarily need to lose weighht, but rather to flatten my belly. Any tips that have been prooven, like maybe excersize ones? I know they say that you should limit your carbs, but that is almost impossible, what with the fact that I am on a specail diet that already limits my protein intake! I am so sick of appearring as if I am 6 months pregnant! HELP!

Walk to your nearest school,...Take SPELLING as a course


and then walk home!...Pass all lures,go directly home!

Half an hour a day can do wonders!

General weight loss through dieting and excercise is the way to do it. You can't really target fat loss in ANY section of the body. You can tone it up with excercises, but it sounds like you need to lose some first. If you lose weight you will lose it all over your body, it sucks I know but you can't really target any spot unless you have lipo or something like that.

belly fat is very tough to lose,for men & women,try cutting out as much sugar as you can,no soda,no candy.also no fast food.try slowly doing ab crunches.if its to tough to do off the floor,try a therapy ball,i use one to strengthen my back.they work great.

How do you loose your pot belly? Poor thing. I too am trying to loose mine. I agree Mr. LizardKing, being mindful of what you eat, learning about nutrition and being active ( I had to add one Mr. LK). I also agree with Miss CrossEyedMary, loving yourself and acceptance is the first step. I had someone to tell me that same thing before. It actuallly pissed me off. I thought to myself, how can I love myself when I live inside this body. Then once I did start loving myself and my self esteem went up is when I was able to start loosing weight. Sure, I have bad times when I am not so good with the diet and exersice thing.
