They think my sexuality is just a phase but apparently that word is unacceptable in a question.

You are a child...... it will be a long time until you can be taken seriously.

What do they think you're confused about? You're a teenager for god sakes!!!!

They think I'm just confused about my sexuality and that it's just a phase.

I take it you're leaning towards being a lesbian or bisexual maybe?

Best Answer

Yeah, to be honest I am a bit unsure but I'm sick of them just telling me I'm straight and not believing that I feel I may not be. They should be supporting me while I figure it out not repeatedly telling me to get on with it and admit I'm straight.

Have you acted on your feelings, yet? As in, kissed another girl or whatever?

Best Answer

I haven't kissed a girl or a boy which is why I think I can't be completely certain. I'd just like my parents to be less dismissive of it.

Have you put yourself in their shoes? In all honesty, do you really think that when you were born they had hopes of you being a Lesbian? Probably not, right!?!? So don't think so selfishly.....they never thought otherwise, okay! It's a shocker to them, too!!! :(

Stick with whatever "it" is, and it'll be obvious that it isn't a phase.

The site wouldn't let me post the question with the word sexuality in it because apparently it's a terribly rude word- _-
