No one is normal, there are just a lot of weird people with things in common and I've stopped trying to impress others because people are more screwed up then anyone might think. So I don't know what anyone has been through in their life; and I don't know how many times they've loved or hated or suffered indifference but, I do know how they effect me (for better or worse) and whether they hurt the people around them or not. So I can't define whether a person is a douche-bag or not, or explain fully all of their behavior, but I can still make judgements on their character.
Because to label people accurately requires you to expend effort. None of us have time or inclination to do that, except for the handful of people in our lives who matter.
They're threatened for some reason and just lash out ignorantly.
Thanks for BA Chic! :)
What douche bags.
Example; most of you claim to believe in true love, no? Most would say yes, and in the same breath admit to abandoning someone over any number of worthless reasons such as believing in god, not believing in god, missing teeth, having an addiction, not liking sunny side up. I mean, it literally could not get any more obvious, you people do not believe in true love, not even a little. You're not realists, you're living in a facade which you would blame others for if it came down to it but you have no problem exploiting it's comforts.
So by a simple question such as that, I can already determine you're a liar, or you don't actually know yourself, and because of this I cannot trust you without taking significant risks. You haven't fully thought yourself out and you either aren't able or don't care enough to, but that question is moot. The point is that you haven't yet, and for one reason or another it's made you who you are today.
People claim to be "good" all the time, because we live in a world bastardized by such fables as good and evil. Thus we deny having any part in anything we associate with being "bad", there's just one very big problem here, none of us are good or bad, because we don't live in a world of good and evil, our world is just as gray as we are. This my friends, is how you build monsters. You take a perfectly normal person and convince them of a tale about good and evil while they unwittingly use your interpretations of what good and evil is.
When I call someone a douche bag, I'm not making any fundamental statement about their nature at all. I'm simply saying they're being a douche bag, why is it wrong to bring someone down to your level using insult, and good to call someone a "hater"? It's the same as calling someone evil. You're making a fundamental claim about a persons character. Well I know why, you live in the same twisted world of good and evil- black and white- right and wrong, as most people. That is the standard justification, don't like someone? label them evil.
This is why we create monsters like Hitler, we do it to avoid the harsh truth, that we all have the capability to be a monster. We build demons like Hitler in an attempt to deny the truth. We are all the same, and we all have the same capabilities. I know these people inside and out because I AM them. Most people do nothing but deny this, they demand that they feel "special" I can't think of anything douchier than that.
So those with knowledge should keep it to themselves? why not throw another statement of fundamental stupidity in while you're at it.
I like cleaning up my act after talking.
They gotta label for their mental satisfaction of knowing something. Stupid. How about not putting any label at all? Just someone you don't know well. That's it.
