Education and intelligence are not the same thing, and I'm afraid that they aren't really all that correlated either.
'cause common sense does not seem to be very common at all
And why are stupid people stupid?
Stupid, or ignorant? It's the difference between being book smart and people smart, a lot of highly educated, very intelligent people have no people sense and no common sense whatsoever
There is a big difference between regurgitation and experience or wisdom.
Are you talking about Lucy..??...LMAO
Education ensures that your learn certain documented principals like MBA , Lawyer, doctor
Soft skills can teach you how to come across as a refined person
But guess what.... there has been no formal teaching on increasing the intellect level yet.......that's why it's normal for people to behave stupindly
Turn on any channel, and see who's in the news. If it's a Republican politician, ya probably even elected the crazy son of a B.
never learned common sence,,not tought in schools,,,
you cannot learn everything out of a book. and you have to be willing to sit back and learn learn from others, and whats around you. some people just cant get the concept that being wrong once in a while is OKAY
Because they're not taught any other kind of smart than books and manner (maybe)
They are stupid as much as any other stupid people (however stupid this sounds lol). It's just that contrast between their knowledge and lack of intelligence is bigger.
You don't have to be very intelligent to get a degree. It's how much you work on it (and quite often-how much you've memorized)that counts.
That is a very good question. Some people seem to only have book smarts but no common sense. They pretty much only know what they learned in college but don't seem to have the ability to figure things out for themselves. I would rather have common sense over a degree if I could only have one or the other.
