Start writing diary. Keep a notebook and write down whatever you think about variety of subjects. Be it chocolate, politics, corruption, habits etc. Do not mind language or errors. First practice to bring your thoughts out and develop regular writing habit.

By the way read a lot.In two months of steady practice, you will find you are becoming comfortable in expressing yourself. You will note difference in your initial write ups and the latest ones. That will inspire you to learn more.

Read well written pieces. Pay attention to the language used. Have someone else critique your writing or take a writing course. Read some of the books about improving your writing. If you are having a specific problem with something like grammar, then refresh yourself on the basic rules and practice.
