You can't tell. Ofcourse most cats continue to be playful in the right atmosphere. All of mine remained quite playful throughout there lives. Mine get treated extremely well though

You can't. I have two cats, one is 11, the other is 4, they're both playful at a times, but, if you play with the kitten often, and reward its playful behavior it is more likely to continue the rewarded behavior

you really can't . I have four cats and only one of them (4yrs old) LOVES to play all the time. The other ones like to play too if I get the flash light out and play with them.
