You don't need to feel a "spark." I didn't feel a spark with my current boyfriend at first. In reality I didn't think it was going to work out at all (but he kept pursuing me, and here we are today almost 3 years later). I DID feel a spark with the boyfriend I had before him, and he turned out to be a total jerk. Sparks are misleading. If you like the person enough to picture a future, chances are there is potential for real love!
