aww man you just had to ask that now i will never be able to let that go because no one will ever know the reason the groom wasnt called the best man it just makes more sense that the bride would have married the best man

Not all women know what they have right in front of them. Just because the groom designated that one guy the 'Best Man' doesn't meant that the bride will take the hint and go for #1! Either way, it's a really nice gesture by the groom to show his bride to be the better choice. :)
