How come blogs recieve more views but no one ever comments on them?

I agree with Mitch...Your blog will probably never be read unless you post something controversial...Everyone has an opinion on the controversial subjects, and some people break out the boxing gloves they get sooooo emotional about stuff!! I like to laugh at how riled up some folks get...It is what it is...

I always write in my blog about personal stuff. Like the EP blurb says, its like my diary.
But like you I get hundreds and hundreds of views, and no comments, even when I ask for them. Im not a big reader of blogs so I cant put myself in that place yet and say why I wouldnt comment. In my case, my blogs are about 2 people no one knows or cares about and when they come to the page, I assume people probably read a few lines and then go somewhere else more interesting to them personally. Im actually fine with that, but youd think out of nearly 1k views a few would read the whole thing, and someone would have some kind of comment! Even hellos are good enough for me. :)

The blogs are available to other views other than members of this site.

Maybe they are just curious to see what you have to say...

I know what you mean. I had one blog hit over 2000 views in one day, but not one single comment! I suspect that it's just because the public blogs really are just that: public. They will pop up in Goggle searches and the like. But only EP members can leave comments on them. So, if you've written about something that may be a popular search topic for everyday people, you may get lots of views from people outside EP.
