Excellent point!
Here's one theory - regular folk are working 40+ hrs a week, driving back & forth in traffic, raising their kids themselves, doing their own cooking, cleaning & laundry and at the end of the day are prob lucky if they get a full 8hrs of sleep! lol
Whereas the rich/famous usually have more time in between gigs (projects, movies, etc) and an entourage of staff to taking care of the rest of their lives so they can 'afford' the time.

famous people obviously worked hard to be where they are, why are they obligated to give money away that they busted their ***** for? i never understood why people are so concerned what others do with their money. what if a homeless person knocks on your door and says "Hey guess what? I'm moving in, but I'm not paying for anything." because you have a place to live, are you obligated to share it with bums??
for the record, tons of famous people give to to charity.

Famous people make their money from their job and making a song or ad with charity give more effect than their old money.
