How come I never see Amtrak trains on the tracks?

I always see freight trains, but no matter what state I am in, I have never seen an Amtrak train!

They are all over Calif. I know they sometimes run on different lines, than some frieght trains. They do out here.

They do not run or stop in all states. Their routes are established and they never vary.

Cos the tracks, are FM... So am won't run on them. Hope that clears it up for you.

Guess that you were not looking at the right time.....I rode on one...

But really.....there is not that many that run any more...For people use planes.....and their own cars to get where they want
