    Their fur probably offers a certain amount of protection. The spider would have to get it's teeth through that fur unless it can get at the nose but cats are quick. I've seen my cats provoking snakes and the snake is just too slow providing the cat sees it coming.

    The spider gives the cat mercy .. Any spiders don't bite if you leave um alone :-) there nice spiders x
