Most American's are more concerned with people liking them. I've grown up with my other saying, "You need people to like you. It gets you places." With messages like that going around, what do you expect? People are weak.<br />
(NOTE: I do not share my mother's beliefs. I stand up for what I belief and do what I want regardless of what people think...also note that people don't like me! lol I'm cool with it.)
Very good, I agree with you.
Fat *** Americans sit for everything.
I stand up for what I believe in, I just don't force feed it to other people. Nor do I reject/judge people for believing in something different than I do.
Because we have been `flattened` by perverse ideology.
I'm too tired for all that standing and rallying. Now, if there were some kind of nap-in I could participate in for a good cause, I'm there!
Because some people believe once they stand up for something they believe in ( gay rights, no bullying) that they to will be given the consequences of someone else close-minded opinion about it.
It seems to me that what we believed in collectively, and for a long, long time, has been replaced in so many with cheaper, dirtier and selfish desires. As I believe that society is shaped and formed as the authorities wish, this would imply big brother wishes for an obedient, unquestioning and blindly loyal population, which is easier to accomplish by ridding us of our morals and ideals.
