How come when I ask a question, questioning the validity of evolution everyone assumes I am a "theist"?

Just parts of it like "the little horses turned into big horses" Or "we come from Apes" I know there were dinosaurs for frog sakes!!

Because the evolution vs. creation argument strikes a good many people in the wrong way. Any questioning of either stance would be the same as taking the opposite position.

There are other people then theists questioning evolution?
Clearly the propaganda machine of scientists is suffering from this recession!

Because people are moronic and gullible. It's in our DNA.

When you are someone that belongs to a religion, you are told to just believe. When you don't just blindly believe, you are an athiest. When you are an atheist or agnostic and have doubt, you are automatically a theist.

I believe the only correct way to feel is doubtful, because no one "knows" anything (although science comes the closest. At least they TRY).

When I was a child in Catholic boarding school, I used to ask the nuns all kinds of questions. They usually answered my questions with, "It's a mystery." It really would make me angry lol. Now that I am old, I understand that they were right; also, they were honest.

Because that is a kind of either or question.

Probably because biological evolution has been scientifically proven. Check out micro evolution. Most people who challenge evolution are theist. That’s my best guess.

I sometimes wonder if the people who question evolution is the proof of no evolution or did that DNA switch just not get flicked on?

Old practices die hard, even evolution theory is like that. At the end of the day you should know afterall it is a theory, you can vote for whichever you like. You can never measure the absolute truth.
I think fibonocci numbers found in nature superseeds darwin's theory, through this number 1.61828.. you can easily violate 2nd law of thermodynamics without violating Conservation Law. Nature follows this.

Does the answer to this question matter? All you need to know is that if you disagree you're religious and stupid.

Because the only reasoning that I can think of that you wouldn't believe that evolution is the truth, is that a religious text or person told you so. And no one who is educated in evolution believes that man "came from" ape.

Because to question the validity of Evolution suggests you don't understand it, which is usually a Theist position as they think the sky fairy waved his wand and poofed everything into being.

"Because to question the validity of Evolution suggests you don't understand it"

Dear Daisy Duke Barbie. Oh Godless one, if anybody really did understand evolution and it was actually "valid" as you claim. It would no longer be a THEORY but a LAW.

Because you asked it before. It seems you cannot separate the process and it's explanation, since that would not enable you to choose an openly religious answerer.

Here's a clue:
Gravity makes things fall. It's a visible, proven process.
The theory of gravity is an explanation that seems to best fit all we know about the process we have called gravity.

Evolution makes things fit. It's a visible, proven process.
The theory of evolution is an explanation that seems to best fit all we know about the process we have called evolution.

The only things known not to evolve are:
1. Inanimate objects.
2. Things that do not respond to new information (like theist brains)
3. Once-living things, now deceased (like theist brains)
