While I fiercely defend anyone's right to their own pursuit of happiness (absent force or abuse), I must say that, aesthetically, IMHO, of course, men look positively freakish in women's clothing, and frankly, women in men's clothing only slightly less so. That said, some looks are essentially unisex, such as blue jeans & a t-shirt....who's going to argue with that look? I respect the kilt, I think it looks pretty cool in the proper setting. But....a woman in a "wife-beater" t-shirt? Just not a good look....come to think of it, that's a pretty nasty look for men, too. A man in F-me pumps and a frilly skirt? That's just a horror show! Have fun out there, everybody, but my humble opinions remain mine!

    Cheers

Whatta ya mean they dont without a comment? I saw a guy the other day with his wife ..well i assume she was his wife. Older couple..probably early 60's. he had a skirt, blouse and low heels. and a FULL ON beard. No one said a thing. and he walked around the grocery store like it was no big deal. And apparently the rest of us saw it as NO big deal too =D

Because a woman in mens clothing can be sexy......also a suited woman is viewed with authority and strength. Society views men in woman's clothing as not being masculine.

that must be the stupid laws of the land,as ladies can go arround in the skimpiest of clothes flashing everything off,but if we do anything like that when dressed we get locked up.theres far to many do gooders talling us all how it should be.

I've seen plenty of men walk around in woman's clothing. It happens all the time it's just that women in men's clothing is more socially accepted.

I think it is all about owning what ever you have on if you can rock it then wear it. there was a time when a female wearing paints was unheard of but we did it anyway and enjoyed the shock value of it. But we did it in paints made for a female take up sewing make a dress that looks manly and bam you will start a new trend

I think it is mainly culture thing. I wear women jeans only, as fit better, look better, and with stretch, so much more comfortable. Only sometimes get my rear pinched by a woman. Shoes? I have a pair of woman shoes, loafers I think you call it, that have 1 inch heel. And cowboy boots with 1 to 2 inch heel are accepted. Same as pink shirts, men can wear them and look good. Women wear pink and blue and nobody bats an eye. But hairy legs sticking out from under a skirt, just do not look right for either sex. Now shaved, and if shapely, that is another story. Good Question really.

women wear their versions of men's clothing and sometimes wear that which was meant for men's clothing

Some men wear kilts made for either men or women but the alternate version a skirt is typically for women.... the overall design is more associated with women's wear.....

No one can tell you what to wear
